In September this year, we took part in the Africa is not a dumpster campaign as the American Chemistry Council planned on dumping plastics in Africa, as a plan to keep the oil business ongoing. This was a major blow, given the strides Kenya has made over the past few years in regard to plastic bans.We raised awareness regarding the threats of plastic and lobbied the governments to not allow this to go through.
