In early December we had a meet up with fellow activists from the KEAN network as we took part in a citizen science game count in the Nairobi National Park. We got to appreciate nature and the vital role it plays on our earth whilst networking, getting to know fellow environmentalists on a one to one basis whilst enjoying nature and spotting wildlife. We found lions, zebra, hippos, buffalo, hartebeests, eagles, impala, wildebeests, gazelles and lots of bird species. In the coming year we endeavour to make places of nature more accessible and affordable to local citizens.
